SNOW!
No, we didn't get snow down here in Monterrey. It has been unseasonably warm here. But we did go back to Michigan to enjoy some snow and cold - just before it rained, all the snow melted and it was near 50 degrees! And if you know us very well, you know our family tradition of building giant snowmen. Well the day after Joe arrived the boys ventured out into the snow - with no snow boots or snow pants - Joe didn't even have a jacket - to play in the snow. I think it must have been extra heavy snow because to lift the second ball up they had to call in reinforcements. Zoe to the rescue, they just needed a girl's help! (And maybe her Daddy's help too.) They made a tremendous snowman with a carrot nose and Hershey Kisses for the eyes and mouth. Fun was had by all and my three boys came in soaking wet! And of course less than 48 hours later the rain melted all but the bottom ball of snow away. Long live the Van Hooser Snowman Tradition!
