Grandparent Visit

I apologize for the lack of blogging. I have been avoiding it because it has been taking FOREVER to upload pictures, seriously one picture takes 10 minutes. It's driving me crazy!
So anyways, my parents came down last weekend for a short visit. We had a great time. We did a lot of hiking. The first picture is at Cola de Caballo or Horsetail Falls. And the family picture is at Parque Estanzuela. We had beautiful, crystal clear days at the perfect temperature, around 70 degrees. The boys had a great time throwing rocks and sticks into the water, that could have entertained them all day! We also went to Grutas de Garcia, some famous caves. We saw some amazing stalactites and stalagmites and had a gorgeous view of the mountains from the mouth of the cave.
And of course the highlight of the visit, Grammie made ribs, her speciality. The boys loved them and we have the stained shirts to prove it!
It was so nice to see more family (I say more because Joe's parents came last month - that reminds me I need to post some of those pictures too!). I am afraid that I am getting a little spoiled with all these visits. Those 6 months between our Christmas trip home and our summer visit are going to seem very long! So any of you out there looking for a warmer place to visit in February or March - our house is always open - Anthony will even share his room!
