Our Reputation Precedes Us

Apparently one of our friends or family sent a notice to our neighbors announcing the Van Hooser Dog Sitting Services! This past Monday night at 10:30 (apparently my reputation as going to bed at 9 was not known to all) I got a frantic all from our neighbor Meredith. She said that she was flying back home to Denver tomorrow morning to have an emergency root canal. She needed someone to watch her dog Caleb and knew that the boys seemed to already love him. They indeed love to play with him in the park across the street and have even went next door and asked if Caleb could come out and play. So I said yes we would love to help you out and the boys would be thrilled to have a dog for a few days. We have him until Saturday when Meredith gets home. He has been very sweet, although he seems to prefer me to the boys much to everyone's dismay!
In other news, we have all been sick in one way or another lately. I guess that's to be expected in a new city/climate/food/etc. We all came down with a case of food poisoning last week - that was no fun at all. And then this week Zac has come down with an ear infection and I think Anthony has been having some allergy/sinus crud. Needless to say I am ready to have everyone back to a healthy state and have the boys back in school. Although we have Monday and Tuesday off for Mexico's Independence Day so I will have the joy of boys home 2 extra days!
