We Have Arrived

I am afraid there will be no pictures with this post but I thought I should let everyone know that we have arrived safe and sound. We got here last Friday. The boys have loved the hotel pool, it has an awesome slide that goes through a waterfall. The only problem is that we have burned holes in 3 swimsuits already. Apparently the material that the slide is made of (something to make it look like a slide through a rock or cave) tears holes in the boys' suits! The boys have enjoyed the city and all the new exciting things to see and do. We went to church on Sunday and they even went to their class by themselves. They quickly made a friend and were playing futbol (soccer) in the parking lot after services. They said that they had to use lots of hand signals since he didn't speak English and they don't speak Spanish yet. The boys had their entrance exams at school. I think they went well. They were mostly oral and given to them by Mexicans (whose first language is obviously not English). One of the questions was In what sport do you use a reel and tackle? But because the test giver was Mexican she pronounced it more like In what sport do you use a reel and taco? Anthony could not figure out what sport that might be, competitive eating perhaps? Our stuff arrived on Tuesday and mot everything appears to be there and intact. Everyday I attempt to empty some more boxes. Our carport is jammed full of empty boxes and packaging paper. We plan to be living in the house starting tomorrow.
