I have been feeling much like what the boys look like here. Our house is listed. Yikes! We still have so much to do to get it ready, wait let me correct that I still have tons to do. This past week we attempted to fix and do all those little things that you put off doing around the house until "someday." Well that someday is today for us. We also were attempting to get ready for a garage sale to get rid of all that junk we didn't need in the first place. Getting rid of stuff is always so freeing, I feel so much better with less stuff. We had the sale and we were very successful, we sold lots. It was very interesting though, I always imagined that garage sales are mostly a female domain. But I would have to say that 75% of my clients were 60 year old men. Which was great because Joe had put out all kinds of tool/garage stuff. The men just went
ga-
ga over it. They were so excited about their finds. Part of that may have been the price - Joe didn't price any thing he just said he wanted to get rid of it. So someone would ask me, "How much is this?" and I would reply, "I don't even know what it is, how much do you want to give me?" I just figured out why so many old men came to my sale, after one came and got such good deals he must have called his buddies and said,"You gotta go to this garage sale, the lady will sell you anything for a song!" My parents also came up this weekend and did lots of painting and cleaning. We are so blessed to have so many family members close by who are happy to come help us. I don't think I would have been ready for this week otherwise! On Sunday we had church, soccer games and then Joe left for Germany. He will be gone for 2 weeks. So for the last 3 days I have been cleaning, sorting, and painting like a crazy person because ... today we had our first showing! Hooray! I am so tired, I can't believe that I am sitting here typing instead of sleeping. But I thought that I would give you all a short update.

Congrats on the first showing!! I hope you get some helpful feedback from it :)
Jen you have your work cut out for you the next few months. Dad and I are praying daily for you during this transition time.
I'm glad we were able to help out a little. I know there is much to do but al least you got through the first showing and certainly must have wowed the people who saw your home. Isn't is amazing how much you can get done on your home in a few weeks when you've been thinking about doing it for months (maybe years)?
