Cage Fighting

We need one of these in our backyard! This past weekend we went to family winter camp at MCYC. It was a whopping 12 degrees for a high temperature on Saturday. So we spent most of our time indoors, unfortunately. They had a Wii bowling tournament, in which Joe reached the championship round (and lost). They also had this inflatable boxing ring with the comically large boxing gloves and protective head gear. The boys LOVED beating each other and were allowed to wrestle without the gloves also. Everyone else loved watching them pound each other. We did do the short course of orienteering and nearly froze our noses off searching for the points. We had a good time as a family and enjoyed being at the camp. This weekend we will return because I was asked to come help with trail rides for teen winter camp and Joe continues his work on Kevin and Ann's house. I just realized that I might not have mentioned what he is doing. The camp's Guest Service Coordinator and his family are planning to move into the old farmhouse. But there is a lot of work to be done before it is livable. Everything has been taken down to studs and the kitchen and a bathroom are being moved. And somehow Joe has placed himself as head contractor. He has been working very hard. I am so proud of all his work and commitment to help.

So fun! I am glad you guys enjoyed your time together at MCYC, I have so many incredible memories of that place!
And WAY TO GO Joe (and way to go Jen for sharing so much of his time!)! It is such a blessing to all of us "house challenged" that Joe is willing to share his gift to bless others!! Molly
