Flutterbys

Today as I endured my daily torture (aka parent pick up line) and was feeling very homesick and lonely, God fluttered by. There must be thousands of butterflies (Zac used to say flutterbys when he was younger) in Monterrey. I don't know if it's migration season or if we just have a perfect climate for them but they are beautiful, magical, wonderful creatures. And just what I needed to put a smile on my face and in my heart. So as I sat in my car for those 25 minutes waiting to pick up Zac, I opened my sunroof, turned up my Chris Tomlin CD, and praised God for His always being there, His love, His peace, and for the little reminder He sent me today. I hope that you experienced some of God's beauty today!

Nice Niece Jenni -- I love you and so appreciate you sharing your butterfly day with all of us that hold you so dear. I've had a few days like that lately and my heart felt much happier after reading your blog.

Jen, thank you for sharing your moment with the presence of our awesome God. God does inhabit our praises, He says so. It is amazing how perfect God's timing is to demonstrate His love for you just when you needed to know that someone cared that you were lonely and homesick. I will join you in praise today for His loving care of my precious daughter.

Jen-Your thoughts bring a smile to me as well and I appreciate your willingness to tell us about it too. I must admit I have been so glad to see you guys on the Mexi-cam and to see your smile and the crazy boys too! Thank you for setting it up. I hope you can get R&M to do the same with you!
We will be praying that Joe's week goes well with the Germans! Looking forward to Nov already! Luv, Dad

It's nice to know that there are little things that can remind us of how special life is.
