Merry Christmas

W decided to have our family Christmas yesterday. We will be heading back to Michigan this Sunday and the boys wanted to do Christmas in the morning so because Joe will have to work on Saturday and Sunday we will be heading to the airport, yesterday was the day. It was a surprise for the boys, they thought we were going to do it the morning before we left. They were excited to get their presents but they pretty much knew what they were getting. They had made lists and we went up to McAllen 2 weeks ago to shop - Zac and I shopped for Anthony and Joe and Anthony shopped for Zac. But as you can imagine it was a little difficult to do with only one car and one day! So they loved their presents and went right across to the park to try out their scooter and ripstick. I was incredibly impressed to see how well Anthony could do on the ripstick (a skateboard type thing with only 2 wheels) - I'm sure you'll be seeing him on the X games in a few years! Zac also got a small radio controlled helicopter that he is having tons of fun with too. After presents and playing we went to church and they had a Christmas service. We also went bowling which was great fun, if only we had a video camera to catch some of the boys'great moves. Te only weird part of the whole Christmas was the fact that it was 95 degrees outside. That just really makes it hard to get in the Christmas mood. I guess it's a good thing we head to Michigan soon, I can get my fix of snow!
