Busy, Busy!

We have had a busy few days here and will continue to be busy through next week. The top 2 pictures are from a canoe trip we took with some friends Sunday. We had lots of fun, it was a gorgeous day and the water temperature was just right. We paddled upstream to some falls, played in the water and had some snacks, and then floated back. I was in a canoe with Anthony and his friend. Anthony decided to sit on the front tip of the canoe facing backwards and paddle. He thought it was pretty funny that he was paddling AGAINST me (did I mention we were supposed to be going up stream?) Needless to say, my arms and back are very sore! I wasn't the only one who was sore though - on our trip downstream, Joe was paddling the canoe all by his self - pulling a tube with 3 boys in it! At least he was going downstream then.

Yesterday the boys and I went to the Detroit Zoo with Amy, Angie, and my nephews. Boy did I forget how much work going some place with little ones is! I think that we spent more time watching David throw leaves and rocks down the drainage grates than we did looking at annimals! But we did have fun and got to see lots of cool animals!
